I'm starting over from scratch after challenges

Greetings,

I'm the web servant for D22 here in Oregon. I am a humble amateur web developer and built our site in 2019 when the WordPress app was in its infancy. I jump through many hoops to get the Meeting Guide app up and running on our site (https://aa-oregon-yamhill.org/). Over the past several weeks, I suddenly lost the ability to add new meetings. Afterward, the meetings page stopped showing up on the mobile version. I tried everything, watched endless videos, and still couldn't make it work. I've reuploaded the app, and am reuploading our meetings. My question is: I believe I need a bit of code to add to the CPANAL, right/wrong? I don't have that or have instructions. Would someone be able to set me in the right direction?

Since you have the rest of the site working, getting the plugin to work should be a simple matter.

I'm assuming you're using Elementor on top of the OceansWP theme.

Question 1:
Did you add your own page with a slug of /meetings? Because if you did, you didn't have to. The plugin automatically renders it's own archive page with a URL of /meetings .

Sorry... DID you add your own /meetings page? If you did delete it and see if the plugin renders it own.

I removed the meetings page and am attempting to update the app. The app won't let me push through an update. I have all of my apps on "auto" update and they're all good. I deactivated auto updates on the app, but it's not letting me update.

Did you at any point override the default slug used by the plugin?

i think there could be a cache plugin interfering with TSML UI - i'm seeing an error in the javascript console and it appears app.js is being loaded from a local cache, rather than from tsml-ui.code4recovery.org. do you know what plugin could be doing that?

Josh, Yes, the culprit is the WP Rocket plugin. I disabled it and "voila," the meeting guide magically appeared on the mobile version. This conversation has been extremely useful and enlightening. The next step is to look into why new meetings are not linking to the Meeting Guide app. I'll check in a few hours to see if the meeting "Sunight of the Spirit" on Sunday at 0900 shows up. If it doesn't, I'll let you know, unless you already have any new ideas?

BTW, currently there are only 2 meetings in the feed.

Have you already registered your feed with the meeting guide app? If not here is a link to the info on how to do so.

If you've already registered your feed with the meeting guide app, these meetings should be picked up by the app within a day or so.

If you've already registered your feed with the meeting guide app, but they don't appear within 24 hours, you should contact the meeting guide app support team directly at appsupport@aa.org.

I put in another registration just in case. I've re-entered all of my meetings on our website (Meeting Guide app). I entered a meeting on 12/8/25, Sunday, at 0900 am, titled "Sunlight of the Spirit," and it still does not appear. I've been having trouble getting this meeting to show on the Meeting Guide app for several weeks now, even before my most recent connection was lost. I'm expecting to see our meetings beginning to show up again soon. I have my fingers crossed. Tim

This is my issue, the meetings that are listed with Portland Intergroup Was requested by one of our members years ago. They are part of area 58, our parent to District 22 I'm not able to edit these meetings, when necessary. These meetings are our responsibility to maintain since they are in our district One more thing. The meetings are populating fine except the Sunday Sunlight of the Spirit at 0900 am. yes the phenomenon of service entities overlapping (particularly intergroups and districts) is pretty widespread. in these cases there is often not a lot of historical cooperation. the process to resolve itt is to start a conversation with that entity.

at the end of the day, it's my personal belief that the goal should be for both sites to have matching listings at any given address (without regard to which meetings are in which service structure), because having that consistency serves members looking for a meeting.

perhaps in that spirit District 22 might consider adding the "Newberg Anonymous" meetings and the "Recovery Straight Up" meetings (if the PAI listing is correct)?

I understand your frustration. I just went through a similar situation in my area too. I had to work with app support and the entity that listed the meetings to get it resolved.

I contacted the Portland Area Intergroup, and we are partnering to ensure Nerberg, Oregon, is taken care of. If they receive a request for changes to that city's information, they will forward it to me so I can make corrections on our local site. Problem solved; until it's not! Tim
