Suggestion - Gearbox's gear colors as background color #82
Description
The option "gear colors" in the Gearbox settings is a really great addition . But it only colors the gear number, which is usually not that big, so the color doesn't really stand out.
What if gear colors also can be applied to the backgrounds of the Gearbox? It would color the background of the gear number, or, even better, the background of the tachometer, so you only need a quick glance to see what color are the backgrounds to know your actual gear.
Code-wise that doesn't sound too complicated, but I know nothing about it, and I don't even know if it's possible at all?
