installed but I get a spinning globe most of the time on the prefs window and the window is unresponsive... when it does respond, I can click around but only for a few seconds. once configured I am able to use it.

Odd, it's only doing UI stuff, not connecting to HA except when first opening and pressing connect.
No immediate solution and I'm running Sonoma myself so not easy to replicate, I'll have a think about any potential reasons.

Ii thought so as well. It locks up for exactly 10 seconds and unlocks for about 1 second and repeats, just long enuf to get in a single mouse click or key. That's how I was able to get it to work. Painful but effective.
