As a Computer Science intended major since middle school, big tech was always the goal post-grad. But after two summers Software-Engineer-interning at big companies, I realized I didn’t feel as passionate about it as I thought I would. The work I competed didn’t feel meaningful, and I learned I didn’t like "enterprise coding" all that much. Most importantly, I did not feel valued by the teams I worked on.
