Problems compiling on PUB400

Hi all

Let me start with - Code for i works terrific on several client machines.

But today I connected to PUB400 to help a friend with a problem and it connects, let me deploy but will not compile. Each time I get the annoying "blah blah path error cannot find python3" error message.

I've set my .profile and .bashrc and bach_profile correctly and I see python if I connect with terminal PASE.... but... I do see one strange error in the log. It says at the top of the terminal:

syntax error: (' unexpected $ syntax error: )' unexpected

I'm hesitant to report this as a bug, because its most likely a human error. I am that human.

.bashrc is

# Add Binaries and NodeJS to end of path
PATH=$PATH:/QOpenSys/pkgs/bin:/QOpenSys/pkgs/lib/nodejs20/bin
export PATH PASE_PATH

.profile is the same
