Hide date or sequence number in editor?

Folks:

Is there a way to hide the date or sequence number in the editor?

I enabled support for the date column in the system settings, to preserve the data, but I don't need to see the dates.

I think I figured it out.

It was confusion between the Rocket RDOi extensions connection settings and the code for i connection settings.
