Code signing identities - App Store Connect key a .p8 not a .p12

Hi,

I'm new to both Codemagic and Apple Development.

I went to 'Code signing identities' on Codemagic site, it's asking for a .p12 but the key file is .p8 any suggestions please.

Hi @simondhearn, .p12 is your iOS certificate that needs to go under code signing identities >> iOS certificates.
.p8 file is your API Key that is generated in your Apple Developer account. Now, if you are working with the Workflow Editor, you cannot use code signing identities, so I will explain it for codemagic.yaml. The end goal is to provide .p12 to Codemagic and for this, you have 2 ways: 1. Either create a certificate in the Apple Dev account, install it on your local machine and then drag/drop it to code signing identities 2. Provide your .p8 file under Team Integrations >> Developer Portal and let Codemagic generate a certificate for you.
