Codemagic not using updated profile for iOS builds

I'm having a problem with codemagic not using the updated profile for IOS builds. I only have one matching app id, so I don't know why it would have a problem.
I basically notice this when I add a couple devices (both to the 'devices' and 'profiles' sections of the apple developer account.
I also updated the distribution list in codemagic.
Any ideas as to why it doesn't send to the new people?

You are not building using ad hoc, so not sure what you mean by inviting new users. Can you please elaborate?
