How do I get the latest pre release version?

I need to get the latest version on test flight.
Using app-store-connect get-latest-testflight-build-number, I only get the latest build number,
and using app-store-connect apps app-store-versions, I get a fully list deordeneted.

Is there a way to get only the last version?

Hi @pedroalefm, the eventual goal will be to get that version's highest build number. So, if you execute app-store-connect get-latest-testflight-build-number "$APP_ID", you should see the version number retrieved as well. If you need a specific pre-release version, then you can add the optional flag --pre-release-version to the command. More info can be found in the cli tools documentation here.

So, what I need is to assign the version to a variable. Using something like this
LATEST_BUILD_NUMBER=$(app-store-connect get-latest-testflight-build-number "$APP_ID")
I only get the build number, not the version.

That won't return the version number, the cli does not intend it. You can use app-store-connect apps app-store-versions. Something like:

app-store-connect apps app-store-versions --version-id=$VERSION_ID APPID1234
