get-latest-testflight-build-number returns previous build number for several minutes in a row.

If you are looking for help, please confirm the following...

• I confirm I have searched the Docs, Codemagic Sample Projects, and GitHub Discussions.
• I confirm the software versions on my local computer match the ones in CI environment (e.g. Xcode version, Gradle version). See here
• I confirm I am able to do a fresh clone of the repository and build the project on my local computer.

Steps to reproduce

1. get latest version by get-latest-testflight-build-number
2. upload new release
3. check get-latest-testflight-build-number immediately after upload

Expected results

There should be a fresh version after upload.

Actual results

The build version does not change

Even though we continued in Intercom, I will share our discussion here as well. You can specify it by adding an additional flag to the command which will look like the following command and it will fetch a specific version's latest build number, otherwise app-store-connect get-latest-testflight-build-number alone retrieves highest version's latest build number:

app-store-connect get-latest-testflight-build-number --pre-release-version="$RELEASE_VERSION"
