Anyway, there is a step you missed in your yaml file

check the guide that I sent you for reference

We are using Ionic Capacitor, not Cordova. We did follow steps documented in

it does not mention about this step.

hey @dreamteam012020 sorry my bad, I read it wrongly:)
can you please double-check in android/app/build.gradle have you specified the signing configuration for the release build type?

    buildTypes {

        release {
            signingConfig signingConfigs.release
        }
    }

also make sure buildTypes block is located below signingConfigs block
like here
