iOS .mobileprovision profile not updating, device missing

Steps to reproduce

This is probably not reproducible

1. I added a new device to the Apple developer website.
2. When I built an ad-hoc version of iOS locally, the device was included.
3. When I built an ad-hoc version of iOS with CodeMagic with automatic code signing. The device was not included.

I assumed that Codemagic always takes the latest provisioning profile. Is it possible to update it somehow?

Expected results

The device should be included in the .mobileprovision file and should have access to the ad-hoc app.

Actual results

The device was not included and could not open the app.

It was necessary to delete the current provisioning profile on developer.apple.com. This was not clear to me. Maybe it makes sense to add this to the documentation.
