codemagic.yaml environment/vars variables cannot be dereferenced

Steps to reproduce

The following used to work, but is no longer valid

        environment:
            groups:
                - godot
            vars:
                GODOT_VERSION: 4.2.2
                GODOT_EXEC_URL: https://github.com/godotengine/godot/releases/download/${GODOT_VERSION}-stable/Godot_v${GODOT_VERSION}-stable_macos.universal.zip
                GODOT_TEMPLATES_URL: https://github.com/godotengine/godot/releases/download/${GODOT_VERSION}-stable/Godot_v${GODOT_VERSION}-stable_export_templates.tpz

builder@builders-Virtual-Machine clone % echo $GODOT_EXEC_URL
https://github.com/godotengine/godot/releases/download/${GODOT_VERSION}-stable/Godot_v${GODOT_VERSION}-stable_macos.universal.zip

The remedy also didn't work, here is my script:

That’s because I modified ‘environment/vars’ to store just normal strings. That is, instead of using ‘${GODOT_VERSION}’, I used ‘4.2.2’ instead.

But my question was not answered.
Are variables no longer allowed?

some quick ideas

1. try to use $GODOT_VERSION in environments.vars section, instead of ${GODOT_VERSION} (without {...})
2. in your second example with scripts you missed export command. It should be export GODOT_VERSION=4.2.2
