Missing Beta App Description

Steps to reproduce

Trying to automatically submit my ios build to TestFlight for external testing but I get

Failure: POST https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/betaAppReviewSubmissions returned 422: Beta App Description is missing. - Beta App Description is required to submit a build for external testing.

Expected results

App gets submitted for TestFlight external beta testing and submitted to store.

Actual results

Getting error:
Failure: POST https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/betaAppReviewSubmissions returned 422: Beta App Description is missing. - Beta App Description is required to submit a build for external testing.

App does not get submitted for TestFlight external beta testing or to store. It only gets submitted to TestFlight internal testing.

In your configuration remove testflight pinning and everything related to beta groups, internal testing etc. Just tick appstore connect publish.

All you need to do is to fill in the Test Information on the app's page in Testflight. This information seems to be missing in your account.

Please can you share the build ID of your failed build after making this change so I can check on my end. You can find it under your build details page's 'ID' section.
