Run workflow on branch creation

Steps to reproduce

Hi,
we are having issues with creating a trigger to run workflows on a branch creation. In our project we create release tags when a new release branch is created. We went for the push trigger and found out that it only works when there is a commit included in the push so the branch push alone is not enough to trigger the workflow. The branch push workflow appeared under webhook delieveries but didn't trigger any workflows.

This is the trigger that we use:

  generate­­_release­­_tag­­_trigger:

What would be the best approach to achieve this behaviour on branch creation without having to do any commits?

Expected results

We would like to have the option to specify a trigger or condition to start a workflow when a branch is created.

Actual results

Only when adding atleast one commit to the branch push (it can be empty) the workflow gets triggered via the webhook.

Closed after speaking with Codemagic Support:

Codemagic supports the following build triggers, and does not support triggers on branch creation. You could actually go ahead with the trigger with an empty commit on branch creation which works well too.
