.fvm/fvm_config.json deprecated and does not work for me, .fvmrc also does not work. What can I do?

Steps to reproduce

I have checked in the deprecated .fvm/fvm_config.json and I also have .fvmrc in my root folder:

Expected results

Codemagic should find the correct version and install it.

Actual results

I get Unable to find Flutter version from FVM configuration in my build.

Hi @krjw-eyev are you using FVM with a monorepo project? If so, you’ll need to modify your codemagic.yaml a little bit.
The main thing is that you first need to set the path to your working directory then use the bellow scripts section in order to configure and use FVM

  working_directory: apps/counter_app 
  scripts:
    - name: Install and configure FVM
      script: |
        brew tap leoafarias/fvm
        brew install fvm

I understand, but what do I win from this? In this scenario I still have the explicit version in my codemagic.yaml. I would like to have codemagic use the one defined in .fvmrc or am I missing something?

Hey @krjw-eyev, gotcha, you don't actually need to explicitly set the version in your codemgic.yaml script

  name: Android Workflow
  max_build_duration: 120

  working_directory: flutter1
  scripts:
    - name: Install and configure FVM
      script: |
        brew tap leoafarias/fvm
        brew install fvm
        fvm install 
        fvm use 
        fvm flutter pub get

Just make sure your FVM configuration (.fvmrc) is defined in the root of your app, not in the root of your monorepo. That way, the Flutter version will be picked up correctly from there
