Code Network runs a range of exciting events relating to our club's three objectives that we encourage members to attend. We need a way to list all of our events so members can find full details.
Describe the solution you'd like
We would like a page on our website where we can list the events happening in our club.
At this stage, we are happy to work with a JSON file list of the events occurring in our club. In future, we may move to a hosted database that our club will manage. However, we aren't quite ready for that yet, so a static JSON file will do.
Details we want to see on this page include:
- Event name
- Date and time
- Venue
- Event blurb
- A header image
- A link to more details

Additional context
See our Facebook page and our Discord server (events channel) for some examples of events we have run in the past.
Generally speaking, most of our events are our weekly workshops and project nights we hold at QUT that require no registration. We have occasional social events that may require registration. Then, there are our larger hackathons and industry nights that do require registration. Currently, ticketing for all events that require registration takes place at Humanitix or some other ticketing site. We will link to these sites in these instances.
