Prepare repo for January 19 #152
Description
Some restructuring and housekeeping tasks to accomplish before the January 19 cohort begins.
- Move wiki contents into repo & delete/repurpose wiki
- Rewrite the README to be the "one stop shop" for routing the most common questions to their appropriate destination
- Move glossary terms into glossary.codeunion.io; update all links accordingly; remove glossary
- Edit the syllabus to provide a clearer picture of the chronological progression of the curriculum
- Move all contents of https://github.com/codeunion/web-fundamentals-weekly-katas to https://github.com/codeunion/ruby-exercises and update links
- Move sinatra, html, and css katas from https://github.com/codeunion/web-fundamentals-weekly-katas to an appropriate repo
- Move guides to codeunion.io/curriculum and update links
- Reference the codeunion gem in the on-boarding process
- Reference instructions in the gem about how to request feedback (using the gem)
The main underlying objectives for these tasks are to:
- Ensure that all students can easily and quickly navigate to their desired destination
- Provide a clearer map of the contents provided in this repo
- Articulate the purpose for this repo and move contents that do not fit under that purpose to a more appropriate location
