A double in node count has resulted in a fps drop of almost half while viewing on android which does not have the same optimisations found in some apple handsets, GPU wise.

This defect occurs most prominently during the initial render and as of most recent commit can be replicated on a handset of similar specification as an LG G3 running the most recent chrome version.

Is the project receptive of patches for particular mobile platforms to resolve performance issues?
