Just read "CAT16, as originally published, has been criticized by Smet & Ma for incorrectly scaling by a reference white luminance, which is usually but not always 1.0. Our implementation omits this scaling, which is becoming recommended practice" from

If true, how might we omit this scaling in Colour?

Hi @blue-j,

We typically implement models as per the publication or standard, if there are no revision from it, e.g., CAM16 or CIECAM16, we will not change our implementation. Happy to do so if you come up a revised one!
