Hi, I want to know if mill is installed successfully and where is the problem

How do i generate build.sc ？

I currently execute "curl -L https://github.com/com-lihaoyi/mill/releases/download/0.9.8/0.9.8 > /usr/local/bin/mill and sh mill"

I manually created the build.sc directory then

build.sc is a file, not a directory. ls -la gives more details than pure ls. Please have a look at the mill documentation, if you have no idea what to place into your build.sc. But your initial command line suggested, you've already setup a project with a chiselModule.
