Should we consider using git tag for version control with the ComfyUI API updates?

There are several plugins using ComfyUI internal APIs.
It's very happy to enjoy the latest software updates, but there are some plugins broken by upstream software improvement.

Is there any plan to introduce tag versioning into ComfyUI ? For example, https://semver.org/ .
This versioning system indicates like following stuff;

Given a version number MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH, increment the:

MAJOR version when you make incompatible API changes
MINOR version when you add functionality in a backward compatible manner
PATCH version when you make backward compatible bug fixes

I think such versioning useful for end-users and plugin developers.

usecase:

• end-user can know latest stable version by tag. If they are power-user, can select update to ComfyUI edge release or latest stable tag.
• plugin-developer can know their using incompatible API changes from tag release description
