Facing longer delay when trying to cancel my execution of current running workflow

comfy takes alot of time in cancelling my current run and because of this i generally have to force exit and restart again, so is this how comfy works or is this the case for me only ? I sometimes forget to change sampler or other custom node value and i realize this part later and want to insta cancel and restart but i am facing 1min+ delay sometimes. I did installed many custom nodes and my 80% ram+full 8GB vram do get filled, so is this the cause of this delay or comfyui takes longer time by default ?
