Hello Michel, it’s a pleasure to greet you. I’d also like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your contribution to the Helper Scripts project and on the PVE Scripts Local project. Excellent work.
My name is Pedro (MacRimi), and I’m the person behind the ProxMenux project.
Recently, we released ProxMenux Offline together with ProxMenux Monitor, a dashboard panel for monitoring Proxmox nodes. With each update, new features are being added, such as hardware testing, report generation, creating VMs and LXCs, and more.
One of the features I would like to add is the ability to integrate the Helper Scripts, so users can run them directly from ProxMenux Monitor.
Since PVE Scripts Local is outstanding, I would really appreciate it if you could consider whether integrating it into ProxMenux Monitor would make sense—possibly as a dedicated tab.
ProxMenux Monitor is compiled as an AppImage, and everything could be included inside it.
However, if you prefer that PVE Scripts Local remains separate—as an independent LXC, for example—we could add an installer button in that tab, which would run the script to install PVE Scripts Local if it’s not already present.
I would really like to hear your opinion on this and know what you think of the idea, with full respect for the work you and the team have put into this project, and into Helper Scripts as a whole.
ProxMenux does not compete with Helper Scripts—quite the opposite. I consider them complementary, moving in the same direction.
If you prefer to discuss this privately, you can contact me through any method you find suitable via GitHub.
