Sorry I have to ask, I don't see any real files in the script/project. The Org in Github consists of 20 repos, there is absolutely nothing to it, except a Docker installation. But since we only want bare metal, I don't know how any of us could implement this. I'm not a gamer, but I can't find anything for it either. Under Docker, anyone can deploy it themselves and will probably have more peace of mind. |

Description
LanCache is a cache service for Windows Updates as well as multiple gaming platforms. It aims at reducing WAN transfer by caching the data locally and serving it by intercepting DNS requests for different http services (such as Windows update, Steam, etc) and serving the requested files locally.
Although it offers performance advantages for small deployments (2+ computers), it really shines on larger networks or specific events.
By default, the devs provide a docker-compose solution but an LXC machine would be much better for people running proxmox.
