The rationale behind the request is that I use Arch on my work, so having an Arch VM will be useful for me to switch around my workbench if I'm on the go.

Thanks! I got it up and running but I would like to have isolated "dev environment" which is separated from the host, which I believe LXCs are not good at.

Script is working fine, got Arch VM up and running. Post-install steps

• Setup Cloud-Init i.e., username, password, ip config.
• Enable SSH

pacman -S openssh && systemctl start sshd && systemctl enable sshd

@MickLesk I am seeing the VM (.iso) using >1GB of RAM on idle so I figured I'd try and install cloud image (.qcow) and indeed the cloud image uses much less ram. I suppose there are fundamental differences b/w arch .iso and .qcow but I just wanted to put it out here for others.

• VM using .iso (via Helper Scripts)

I don't know if making a new script or replacing the existing script to use cloud image is worth it or not 😅.
