what are the use of motd_ssh and customize functions?

I found the motd_ssh and customize functions at the end of multiple scripts that I viewed. I found only two declarations of it in ProxmoxVE/.github/workflows/scripts/app-test/pr-install.func#L87 and ProxmoxVE/.github/workflows/scripts/app-test/pr-alpine-install.func#L79. However, both of them seem to be empty and part of the app-test workflow.

I am curious as to what their actual intended use is, and why they are present in 378 files if they are empty functions (as they seem to me so far).

These functions reside in misc/install.func. If you are versed in bash scripting, it will be self-explanatory. If not i can explain whats going on there

Thanks! The functions were self-explanatory. However, I have a new question on how they are sourced. I found that the FUNCTIONS_FILE_PATH in source /dev/stdin <<<"$FUNCTIONS_FILE_PATH" is where it gets the path from. But where is the variable defined?

I remember that GitHub has a way of storing environment variables for GH Action workflows, but are they still accessible when the script is accessed through the raw.githubusercontent.com method? Or am I looking at it completely wrong?

Its defined in misc/build.func. It would be much easier if you just search for them in the source code
