Update Alpine Docker LXC?

How do I update the Docker LXC that uses Alpine?
The description says "You are also obliged to adhere to updates provided by the package maintainer."
What does it mean?

When I enter "update" in the LXCs console it says -sh: update: not found

Then you have an old Container without Update function.
Just re-run the Script in LXC console

bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVE/main/ct/alpine-docker.sh)"

Ok this triggers the update script but after it finishes I still have no "update" command as before. Maybe the alpine variant doesn't support it?

the update command is made when container is installed.

do this:

echo "bash -c \"\$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVE/main/ct/alpine-docker.sh)\"" >/usr/bin/update
chmod +x /usr/bin/update

it will work from there on
