This is a more maintained fork of MinIO console, with some features being retrospectively added to the last "feature complete" community version.

so this is an optional addon for minio? Its only the Frontend? It have an binary, so maybe we can increase the script, its just a few lines more

It is just the frontend, a fork of the minio-object browser that was stripped down. Building it depends on https://github.com/georgmangold/mds instead of the one in minIO due to feature stripping in the upstream / official frontend (building, ...)

Here is a compatibility check thread: georgmangold/console#27. For the moment this frontend fork is compatible with RELEASE.2025-09-07T16-13-09Z of MinIO

@MickLesk this means latest version of this fork might not neccessarily be compatible with latest version of MiniIO? Do we even want to have this issue?
