We're excited to announce that https://github.com/i2y/connecpy has now become the official base of connect-python. Connecpy was significantly further along than the work that had been performed on the previous connect-python base, so in the interest of the wider community, and given that connect-python's alpha was only released in July 2025, we decided to import connecpy as the new base wholesale.
Versions prior to 0.5.0 are still available on PyPI, and the new connecpy base starts at 0.5.0. We'll continue to develop connect-python in alpha, and look forward to your feedback!
