gRPC support timeline

Hi, super keen to get using this, but we'd love to use the gRPC protocol. Do you have a timeline for when support will be added?

Hi @KhanMechAI - gRPC protocol requires using HTTP/2 trailers and there is currently not strong support for HTTP/2 in the Python ecosystem. I have some longer term work to build an ASGI server with trailers support and later a client too, but it's still mostly experimental. I don't think we can give a good estimate on when or even if we can support gRPC protocol in the future.

The Envoy connect-grpc bridge can be used to help migrate from gRPC protocol to connect protocol - is this something you could use? If not, could you provide your reasons to need to stick to the gRPC protocol?
