pause a task for human input

Is there a way to pause a task for human input?

For example, if a task is a git merge, I'd like to be able to pause it if there is a git conflict, so that the human user can resolve it, and then signal to robo to resume the command.

Also, pausing between tasks would be useful. For example, if a task is merging multiple branches, it might need to stop to let a human push to a remote.
