development for bootc+composefs

• "follow the sun" for Composefs-native backend bootc-dev/bootc#1314 - John and/or Colin will work on it by force pushing - or make it a branch and then we do PRs to the branch

• some agreement to copy e.g. bootloader handling from composefs-rs into bootc

• add feature flag for more demo-style stuff in composefs-boot

• we want reverse dependency testing; pinned w/dependabot

  • Procedure for semver/API breaking changes; discussion of disabling the revdep test vs creating a patch in advance

lingering debates

• kargs in /boot in images vs /usr/lib/bootc/kargs.d
• bootc should not load type1 from /boot
• /boot vs /usr/lib/ for UKIs: colin is probably ok with /boot

• Arch doesn't do systemd in initramfs

Arch doesn't do systemd in initramfs

Arch can support systemd in its initramfs but @allisonkarlitskaya preferred to have a busybox based one. mkinitcpio supports both systemd and busybox based initramfs'es.
