Does podman k8s-file driver for logging supports log rotation?

According to lib pod api , we can provide this object as payload while creating container .

"log_configuration": {

    "driver": "string",
    "options": 

    {},
    "path": "string",
    "size": 0
},

We tried providing the config as :

"log_configuration": {
    "driver": "k8s-file",
    "options": {
      "max-file": 10
    },
    "path": "$HOME/.config/log/edge-monitor-1.log",
    "size": "50000B"
  }
  
  It accepted the max file size as 50 kb but does not rotate the log file if it exceeds 50 kb.
  The "options" property is not working as expected . If it support log rotation through this configuration , can you please share an example configuration for it?
