Why macvlan created in rootful mode did not shown in ip link?

sudo ip link add mymacvlan1 link eth0 type macvlan mode bridge
This manually created mymacvlan1 shown as mymacvlan1@eth0 in the output of ip link.

But sudo podman network create -d macvlan -o parent=eth0 webnetwork did not shown in the output of ip link.

Because the macvlan interface is inside the container netns and not on the host namespace as such running ip link on the host cannot show the interface. You would need to run ip link in the container.
