Error when compiling on RHEL 8.10: go.mod:6: invalid go version '1.23.3': must match format 1.23

I have go version > 1.16.x:

$ go version
go version go1.18.1 linux/amd64

But when compiling, I get this error:

$ make BUILDTAGS="" PREFIX=/prj/adcbcd9s/users/costa/podman_install

Note that I don't have root access on the machine.

You need at least go 1.23.3 to compile the current podman, the minimum version is defined in go.mod, i.e.

podman/go.mod
