This one does nothing:

I updated the extension.

This one correctly opened a new browser tab.

Now I see the following in an endless loop:

I refreshed the tab, signed in again using GitHub and this time, it seems to work properly.
I cannot sign in vsc tho (endless loop again).

@jonasfroeller there was a handful of signin issues here that we have hopefully fixed. If you're willing to give it a second try, please let me know if you're able to get authenticated! Apologies for the frustrating login loop here.

I am impacted as well. Wanted to get a trial with Claude 3.5 Sonnet, but I am constantly being asked to log into Github (which I did at least thrice). Once the login workflow completed, the login popup shows anew, and no way to end the loop nor to use the completion. And it does indeed consume quota.
