Continue development build setup instructions?

Hi, I'm working on some dashboard for my devData and would like to build that into continue directly.
I currently have continue setup with an extension install from vscode extensions, e.g. a release version.

Are there any material (docs/videos/code) for connecting the mainline build (or any branch) with vscode directly?

When I searched I was searching the discussions and not the markdown docs on the repo.
