Autocomplete strickly continue.dev (no built in free version of copilot)

I just recently updated my vscode.
Apparently copilot auto/inline suggest is now natively integrated into vscode?

I found online how to disable it but this actually also disabled continue.dev autocomplete even when having "continue.enableTabAutocomplete": true,

"editor.inlineSuggest.enabled": false

Any ideas how to keep continue.dev with my local AI model but disable copilot version?

Side note: I prefer local AI which is why I like continue.dev. If I wanted a cloud based AI reading my code I would go with another code editor that integrates it natively. (take your pick there are so many now a days)

I might of been mistaken. Somehow with continue.dev off my newly updated editor was code completing. I read free copilot was now natively integrated. Assumed this was it, I think there was a copilot icon which I disabled but can not seem to find that icon anymore. I confirmed no outside connections were happening by firewalling my application.
