This reads like "All _ are banned" while example shows "All _ are okay but one has to be replaced with - maybe?"

That seems even more confusing to me lmao
Basically the magic environment variables follow the following structure SERVICE_<TYPE>_<IDENTIFIER>_<SUFFIX>, which is also mentioned in the docs. The IDENTIFIER part can not have underscores, because Coolify reads every underscore as a separator.
