A complete overhaul of the frontend / UI and backend is already planned for Coolify v5. You might want to take a look and comment under #5687 |

This is intended to improve the current version, not to be a full design overhaul like the one planned for V5. V5 was announced over a year ago and will likely take more time. |

Hi..
I’ve been using Coolify for a while now and really like the product.
While navigating the backend, I noticed that the current forms, tables, buttons, and headings could benefit from a visual refresh. Improving the aesthetics and information architecture would make it a lot easier for users (including myself) to find their way around the system and work more efficiently. Especially in Light Mode
To illustrate what I have in mind, I put together a set of before‑and‑after screenshots that show a more modern and consistent design language. See below.
I’ve also created a complete redesign that touches every form, table, button, and title in the backend. The changes are bundled into a pull request here:
#8311
Note: My intention isn’t to have this PR merged straight away. Think of it as a prototype that showcases how Coolify could look if we apply a more unified design to forms and sections. I haven’t been able to run a full regression test, so there may be edge‑cases or unintended side effects that weren’t caught.
I also believe the UI would ultimately benefit from a structural overhaul—a deeper re‑architecture to make the entire backend uniformly clean and modular. That would be a sizable refactoring effort, likely involving many components and a coordinated rollout. Because such a large‑scale change takes time, I see the incremental improvements in this PR as a pragmatic way to move the UI much closer to an optimal state today while we plan any deeper refactor for a later milestone.
