Description
The mobile app freezes on a white screen after the TimeOverflow logo appears semi-frequently on iOS, and only force-quitting it then re-opening it seems to help. This seems to happen randomly on app start-up on iOS (testing on iPhone SE 2020 running iOS 16.3.1).
On Android, the same thing happens in some circumstances. Reported from the coordinator of Mid Canterbury TimeBank in New Zealand:
"When I get a notification on my phone, I go to hit it to read and it should take me to the TO site, but instead it briefly flashes with the TO logo and then just goes white. This has happened every time I've tried it (maybe 5 or 6 different times). So it lets me know there's a notification but then nothing happens when I click. I have to then find the app and open it to see what might have been notified. Does anyone else have this problem? It's a Samsung phone."
I tested this myself with an older Samsung Galaxy J6 phone (Android 8, I think, though I didn't check exact version and build number) and at first it worked fine for me after I had recently opened the app and then went out of it, then the notifications took me in and opened the relevant offer/request fine, but after I 'force quit' the app and then tapped a notification, I got the same issue of it displaying the TimeOverflow logo then freezing with a white screen (only force quit would then allow the app to open again normally).
