Jinja2 extensions not being evaluated in the default copier.yaml

Hi!
I was trying to make an extension to compute some better defaults for my template, but it looks like that the extensions are not loaded at that stage. Is it by design?

They should be. That's how I'm using filters added by a template extension to enhance default values:
