Fresk SDK install missing mc.xsa?

I originally thought this was a WSL quirk, as my Ubuntu install seemed fine, but I have a fresh Manjaro install that has now experienced the same thing: installed the Pebble SDK and create a new --alloy project, only to have the build command give this:

Running Moddable prebuild.

I can copy this file from Ubuntu into the appropriate folder, then do it again for gabbro as well, and only then will it stop erroring out.

Hey, thanks for reporting this!

Just a heads-up on the workaround you mentioned: mc.xsa is a compiled artifact produced by the Moddable build process for your specific target, so copying it from another system isn't the right fix. It may appear to work but could lead to subtle issues if the source system had a different build environment, SDK version, or platform config.

This looks like a genuine bug in the SDK setup/prebuild step where mc.xsa isn't being generated correctly on first run. We'll investigate what's causing the build to not produce the file as expected.

In the meantime, could you share a bit more about your environment? Specifically:

• Pebble SDK version
• Version of pebble-tool
• Output of the full build command with any verbose/debug flags if available (-vvvv)

That might also explain why builds never seem to actually install properly in the emulator, but I wanted to focus on the main bug first. 😅
