Buttons to navigate to different layout

The button we can add at the bottom that helps navigate between different layouts between same module was a great find.

However, I was trying to do same with the something that I can show at top like normal nav options.

I tried to inspect the button below to see if I can hack and find the url or something that I can use in the buttons above but had a hard time doing it. Or if I can build a workflow that can do the same would be great.

Good idea to make it a block. Will promote to an issue.
In the meantime, since layouts are conditional (some field == "some value"), you could have a workflow button that changes a value on the record, saves it and then refreshes and then use the prompt to refresh the record values.

@Fajfa I tried the exact same thing, to have the layouts conditional based on a field but for some reason the page layout does not change. I have to reload manually to see the new layout.

I have other button based workflows that update a field on the record and it refreshes and shows the new value on same record without a manual refresh.

Strange, which version are you using?
