Doesn't work for PDF files on MacOS

Issue Description

Doesn't work on MacOS 15.7.1 when pasting a PDF file.
Test in Safari and in Brave.

Says: fiel uploading
After upload displays a red exclamation mark for a split second and exits without pasting any code in editor

Tested with image and that works as advertised :-)
