Genesis File already created

A fter ./simd init demo getting error that
Error: genesis.json file already esists: /home/harsh/.simapp/config/genesis.json

How should i remove the error and --overwrite flag is also not working?

Just checked the --overwrite flag is working fine, I'm not sure what's happening in your case.
The default home directory for simd init will be /home/{user}/.simapp try using some other home directory using --home flag or delete /home/{user}/.simapp.

i have created a basic project amd deleted afyer that. Now i create another project but the genesis file is not creating . how can i change or delete the old genesis file. Please guide me..
