We could write a proxy example. A server on localhost with a dedicated port. The kind of proxy where you go to Chrome settings and point it to localhost and the port that the example proxy is running on and then you can just browse the internet through our example proxy.

To use an unencrypted proxy in Chrome:

chrome --proxy-server="http://127.0.0.1:8080"
