Craft 5: Possible to edit the control panel

Hello all,

Within the 'Content' section of the control panel, there already exist collapsible elements such as for 'Channels', 'Structures' etc..
Is it possible to nest these collapsibles within another collapsible?

Same question for the 'Users' section where we have a big amount of user groups and would like to nest collapsible items, which each contain 2 user groups, into another higher level collapsible. For example, a department called Finance has 2 user groups inside its collapse but this should be nested in a collapsible called 'Departments'.

Recursive nesting isn’t possible or planned, but starting in Craft 5.9, it will be possible to split your entry sources across multiple separate index pages (see #17779).
