Propagation Settings for Products

I just saw Multi-store functionality on the roadmap. Is there a plan to add propagation settings to products as well?

Saving all products to all sites is a massive overhead for us, since we have almost 100 different sites and only need commerce products in 2 of them. Simply the possibility to turn off commerce for sites where it is not needed at all would already be a huge improvement for us.
